Hi all,
I'm a newbie. I want to know what are the popular developer tools being used in the market so that I can learn them. I came to know about some of the tools from the following link.

What kind of information you want on developer tools.
It depends on so many issues/causes.

1) On which technology
2) On which platform
3) On which track
4) why ?

And if you are looking to learn those for your career then post that information so that we can give some link to learn those related tools.

Good luck

There are so may tools now in the market .

Again you provided incomplete information.

1)Toad & sql developer suite
2) Oracle report & forms builder
3) apex
4) data modeling tools
5) and so on....
It all depends on your field of work. And it depends on your company too....
Most of the companies don`t allow third party tools.

You can find some tool names at "client tools" forum heading.

Good luck

Hi,
Sorry. I did not understand your question.
Are you pointing towards SQL Developer ,Toad and so on...
which are found under "Client Tools" heading?

I know only SQL and PL/SQL. I'm not into Forms, reports or APEX or any others. And I want to learn some tool related to that.

You can try Oracle SQL Developer (freeware):

http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/sql/index.html as well.
