Dear All
I know most of SQL commands but I haven't software and my pc windows XP SP2 in order to I execute these commands in oracle database so I need your recommends , how can I begins

Yes, it must be a Professional Edition not a Home one.

XE is easy to install.
Just follow the installer assistant and click on Next button.

This is why you always should recommend XE for beginners. You don't need to configure parameters, just your standard Windows installer.

When I click on the link I gave you then on "Oracle Database 10g Express Edition for Microsoft Windows" link I get the following page, do you get it?

yea I get and I press to accept License agreement but when I press to "OracleXE.exe"or "OracleXEUniv" the message appear to me

In order to be able to download Oracle products from the Oracle Technology Network, you need to create a (free) account. Did you do that?

Oracle 8?!? Not exactly the newest version, but OK, better anything than nothing, I guess.

I suppose that you should really read the documentation - installation guide, getting started and similar. In there you'll find answers to most of your questions.

Default passwords are (were):
username   password
--------   -----------------
sys        change_on_install
system     manager
scott      tiger (this is a sample schema)

Don't do ANYTHING in SYS or SYSTEM schema; test your skills in newly created one or use SCOTT's schema.

You count them, obviously.

I suppose that you mean "your schema", not in "your database". So, if we guess that you are already connected to SQL*Plus, you'd
SQL> select count(*) from tab;

  COUNT(*)
----------
        11

SQL>

But seriously, you should read the documentation. Asking for each and every command you are interested in might take a long time, if we'll do that interactively.

Query ALL_USERS but as Littlefoot said first read the documentation otherwise you will have a question every minute during a year.

Start with Database Concepts to know how Oracle works
then Database Reference which contains all useful system views
then Administrator's Guide as you administer your ownn database
then Database SQL Reference without it you won't be able to do anything
then PL/SQL User's Guide and Reference and Application Developer's Guide - Fundamentals if your profile is developer one.
