Dear sir / Madam,

Iam installing oralce 11g rel2 on hp-ux 11.31.
i was installing successfully, but in the middle i cancelled the installation activity and removed the installed files from $ORACLE_HOME folder manually. when i tried to install again, OUI shows different oracle_home in wizard..where we need to install on the same path we installed previously ( /oracle/11gr2 ). but physically there is no files presented in the directory.

$ cd /oracle/11gr2
$ ls -ltr
total 0



please advise how to proceed the installation ?
should i remove the files from some other location as well ? if so, please advise.

Before doing that, you should have removed the Oracle installation using OUI.
First remove using OUI and then do it manually. Clean entries in oratab (if any).
Start over.
set your ORACLE_HOME env variable accordingly and install again.
