dear sir/ madam, 

we would like to move the datafiles from +ASM to veritas file system ( vxfs ) through RMAN.

Pl.provide the steps to prepare the rman script for this task.

In my opinion, RMAN is wrong tool for this task.

This is like asking which is the correct hammer to divide one piece of lumber into 2 boards.

Look into RMAN Convert.

But, you are on 11g.
Why not just copy (ASM cp command) the files from ASM to filesystem using ASM?

From RMAN, BACKUP AS COPY ...( FORMAT pointing to file system), And Switch to copy.
