i created a log file "redo002b.log" in group2 & manually deleted it from "C:\oracle\oradata\mastersite" folder.
then i created logfile "redo01b.log" & "redo02b.log" in group 1 & group 2.
now i have 4 logfiles in "C:\oracle\oradata\mastersite" folder
redo01.log
redo01b.log
redo02.log
redo02b.log
but when i check the v$logfile "redo002b.log" is present & status=invalid .
now i have 3 members in group2 & 2members in group1.so i want to delete the "redo002b.log".
i got "ALTER DATABASE DROP LOGFILE MEMBER '/oracle/dbf/log2b.dbf'"
" ALTER DATABASE DROP LOGFILE MEMBER '/oracle/dbs/log3c.rdo' "
by searching .
but bad luck i could not find and files with *.rdo in the entire oracle folder ,
and none of the log file have a *.dbf extension .
so how can i delete the "redo002b.log" which is not in harddisk but present in "v$logfile".

1/ Extension does not matter
2/ Drop it with the command even if the file does not exist in disk
