Hi All,

I'm working with oracle 10G in windows 2003 server. This morning I checked my alert.log and I saw this message :

"Wed Nov 04 21:54:42 2009
db_recovery_file_dest_size of 952861 MB is 0.17% used. This is a
user-specified limit on the amount of space that will be used by this
database for recovery-related files, and does not reflect the amount of
space available in the underlying filesystem or ASM diskgroup.

I just want to know If I have to increase size db_recovery_file_dest_size to avoid any issue.
Clearly, I want to know If this is a warning which can affect my database or not.

Regards
