When i read oracle help(below link), i see couple of restriction for saving old statistics.

One restriction is,

RESTORE procedures cannot restore user-defined statistics.


What is user-defined statistics? Can any one please give
some clarification on this?

Maybe you should learn how to use Search facility in Oracle documentation:
