Dear All,

Is it possible changing a paramater value in another session? For ex: I need to change db_file_multiblock_read_count to 32 from 16 in another session.

Thanks.

Hi,

I think it's impossible. NLS parameters can be set at the database, instance and session level.

I'm not sure what this has to do with the OP's question?

But I'm pretty sure this does not add anything to first answer (in OP's point of view).
