error in writing /tmp/oraInstall [message #421243]

Hi all,

i am installing oracle 9.2.0.1.0 on IBM AAIX 4.3 but when i try to run runInstaller i got the below error.please suggest me

$ksh /cdrom/runInstaller

error in writing /tmp/oraInstall0.please ensure that this directory is writable and has atleast 25mb of disk space.

then i checked

#cd /
#ls -l
dwxrwxrwxrt 2 2048 oracle:dba modified date /tmp

#chmod 775 /tmp

.quick response will be higly appreciated.

For this u need to Empty the tmp folder directly and then go for the trash and Empty the Trash then run

[oracle@ambi database]$ ./runInstaller Shocked
