can anybody help to retrieve truncated data from oracle 10g database. The database is in "noarchive" log mode. we have truncated 1007 million data from a table. Embarassed

If you don't run the database in archivelog mode, then you can't talk about RECOVERY process. Because recovery means, you apply archived redo log files on restored backup. While you haven't archived redo log files, you can't recover

If you have cold backup, just restore it. This is one and only chance.

Always post your Oracle version (with 4 decimals).

Also if you have an export of the table you can re-import it.
Of course, with cold backup or export you lose all modifications that have been made since.

Now switch you database in archivelog mode. There is no reason to be in noarchivelog mode unless you choose to never recover.
