Hi,

I am having problems with DBSNMP process. When ever i reboot the server the DBSNMP process tends to start up and in doing so locks out the system user name and password. The only way to stop this is to kill the DBSNMP process and unlock the system user name and password.

Could there possibly be an underlying process that causes the DBSNMP process to start? I have checked the startup directories and there is nothing in there to indicate how it is started.

Thanks

Unfortunately there was nothing in their to assist with my problem. Latest file was a trace file and there was nothing of relevance in that.

Do you have any other Oracle homes installed on this server?
