Hi everybody..
iam doing point in time recovery using cold backup.
my db is in archive log mode.
for this i have created a user and done some transactns and set time on and then dropped the table and commited.
later i shut down my db and taken a fresh backup.so i need to restore my db to the point before dropping.so due to that reason i restored my db to last cold backup taken.then i opened my db and gave alter database recover automatic using backup controlfile until that time.
its showing some threads are missing and unable to reover t.

can anyone explain me y this error is coming.

thankyou in advance !!!
