Hi,

At my test environment , I was taking HOT backups by "ALTER TABLESPACE <<TS_NAME>> begin backup;" command.

During the time of backup UNIX admin guys accidentally deleted some archive log files generated at the time of backups.

Could anyone please suggest as how to recover the tablespace as I am getting error "Need latest archive file to recover".

You can't.
You can just recover up to the latest archived log you have.

Michel
