Wanted to know what is the meaning of the word
"For Organization supporting between 1-1000 users" at top left corner 1st point in the below URL.

Is that mean a database can support 1000 user schemas??

As schema = user + all its objects, yes - that would be 1000 schemas (in my opinion).

Hmmm, to me it means 1000 concurrent users, irrespective of number of schemas.

In my opinion there is a lot of marketing in that sizing guideline. True - you can only license it up to 4 cpu, but just like Microsoft have Home & Professional versions (or whatever), all vendors try to sell their same basic product to all segments of the market.

Microsoft were especially successful in steering small businesses away from "Home edition" O/S just by picking a name that would make any IT manager look foolish for selecting it (even though it may be able to do the job just fine).
