Hi,
Recently I have installed oracle 10.2.0.1 on RHEL 5.3.After restarting the Linux O/S, the oracle db was not up. So, I started the database using startup and then I started the listener. I want to know what are the services I have to stop before shutting down the server and what are the services I have to start for proper function of Oracle.
Regards,
sdey

Hi,
After restarting the OS the Enterprise Manager was not up. I have started it using emctl start dbconsole.
isqlus was not up. I have started it using isqlplusctl start.
I want to the proper sequence before shutting down the server and after restarting the Linux OS.
Please help me.
Regards,
sdey

Now if all you want is started you know what you have to do, what do you want more?
