Hi all

I have an report which is called from oracle forms , the report runs correctly form machine A ,but i run the same report from machine b ,the number fields are showing ******** instead of the actual figures

machine a also use the same folder bin and same databse user and machine b also use the same folder bin and same database user .how come the report runs differntly in differnt machines

Please advise

Did you run this report on computers A and B with the same parameters, connected to the same schema in order to compare results (which should have been exactly the same)?

yes i supplied the same parameters in both the computers A and B and connected to the same schema .

Are you running the report to screen or a printer?
And if it's a printer is it the same printer in both cases?

I think it has something to do with the pixel settings.
A same report which is printing fine on laser printer has a high probability that it will be distorted on a dot matrix printer.

im running the report in the screen , im not printing it to a printer ,should i still check the printer settings
