Hi


I'm having difficulties setting the preferred host credentials on Enterprise Manager 10g. I'm using the main OS user account which has administrator rights.


I am using Windows Vista- Home Premium, Oracle 10g. In some websites they have mentioned about We have to set the local security rights to allow that user to 'Logon as a batch job' .
But in vista I couldn't see any such options.

Could you please help me to solve this issue.

Babu, I spend almost half day to resolve this problem. Actually , I had gone thru links which you have mentioned before. But no help. If this is a duplicate post then someone might have solved before. If you that link then please share.

Contacted Microsoft for technical assistance(1800 102 100). They clearly updated me that the group policy feature is not included in Vista Home Premium version. Suggested to upgrade OS or contact Oracle Technical Team to solve this compatibilty issue.
