I received the following error during ordinary routine operations

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [ACCESS_VIOLATION] [opildfn+50] [PC:0x1914C62] [ADDR:0x8] [UNABLE_TO_READ] []

i have searched google and metalink and no information is available specifically for this error,

[ACCESS_VIOLATION] [opildfn+50]

I tried ORA-07445 error lookup tool and i found no information in this regard...

Please guide, as this error is coming once after a month or two and i am still unable to find any valid source of it,

Your help is highly appreciated

How, exactly, are you able to search on Metalink, but not raise SRs on Metalink?

I'm not into Metalink registrations and stuff, but - it appears that there are different "roles" to be granted to Metalink users. For example:

/forum/fa/6458/0/

So, perhaps @rizimazhar's friend may search but not raise SRs.

It is windows server? if yes what exactly you did just before getting ORA-07445 ERROR.?

It is a bug but you can't find exact info regarding this in metalink , you need to raise SR in metalink. or just reserve the changes which you did just before the error.

Thanks

Taj
