Hi When I try to start the emctl on my server i get this error - OC4J configuration issue - /u01/app/oracle/product/10g/OC4J_DBConsole_localhost_test1 not found.

Any advice on how to move forward will be very useful.

Thank you

Hi,
Like Babu said, you can recreate the dbconsole configuration (by "emca -config dbcontrol db -repos recreate" or "emca -deconfig dbcontrol db -repos drop" then "emca -config dbcontrol db -repos create")

I just wanted to add that this happens usually when changing network configuration. For example, if you installed a database on a laptop and created the dbcosnole while it was connected to a network, you will have problems to start the dbconsole if the laptop is not connected to any network.

Confirm emctl status ..

Hello, Can you confirm me; If I'm wrong; If emca not configured then also we'll get this error. I'm right.

Thanks

Hi,

sorry the delay in replying.

Yes. You are right.
We need to create the repository first with the
'$emca -repos create' command
Then
'$emca -config dbcontrol db' will complete the job.

Thank you.
KV.
