log onto OS as user who owns Oracle s/w.
open command window

sqlplus
/ as sysdba
create pfile from spfile;
exit

CUT commands above & PASTE into command window.
CUT & PASTE results back here

On the server, create a group called ORA_DBA and add your user to that group. You should be able to CONNECT / AS SYSDBA after that.

Where is output from SET command?

How can you CUT & PASTE?

My post contains semicolon after spfile; and your response contains no semicolon?
