Hi,

I want to stop some jobs which are running in Oracle. I used dbms_job.remove and jobs are removed from dba_jobs table. But how to stop these jobs from running queue.So cany one please let me know the solution for this?

Kill the associated session.

i belive the below procedure let you remove .

dba_jobs
column log_user userA ,
column schema_user UserB

checkout for any UserB session running this job.
kill the session.
break the job(dbms_job.broken)
login to UserA ,remove the job(dbms_remove).

pls correct me if i am wrong.

My point was sometime you may need to break a job, Killing the session alone willnot let you remove.
