Hello to all,
I'm at the first experience with Oracle tuning and configuration so I'm not sure this is the right place where to post (if it isn't then excuse me).
I'm developing an application with more than one transactional server (one it's a Oracle 10g DBMS) under 2 phase lock system.
Since in my situation there could be a large amount of statement in a single transaction I need to know what parameters I have to check and configure to avoid the DBMS to exceed memory amount and/or space limits.
I don't know where to start reading, can anybody help me? I know it's a generic question but there are so many manuals really long and so many different parameters, it takes a long time to read everything and unfortunately I don't have time.
I tried to search also in this forum but I got a lot of specific stuffs that doesn't help me to understand.
Thanks.

Rob

But you are being paid to do so while we are not being paid
