Oracle DB not working fine. [message #401327]

Hi,

I have installed Oracle Database 10g on my PC. It was working fine untill today.
When i tried to start Oracle, error messages appear -

"isqlplussvc.exe was not found"

and

"This application has failed to start because orancds10.dll was not found."

What could be the reason for these errors and what could be the work around?
Please help!!!

workaround? Don't use isqlplus it is obsolete.

Hi Michel,

Thanks for reply.

But when database is trying to startup at that time this error is poping up, and because of this database is not getting started.

All oracle services are failed to startup because of this error.

Software does not spontaneously "break" on/of its own accord.

I have big problems with my xe database also since yesterday...

$ORACLE_HOME, $ORACLE_SID are correct set

after connect sys as sysdba i got Message "Connected to an idle instance"

when i type in "startup" i got from my UnixUnix system console
"ORA_44411: XE edition single instance violation error"

i could not connect myself on the database,

when i want to connect via the Oracle XE client i got the message
"ORA-01033: Oracle initialization or shutdown in progrss"

since yesterday....

dose everybody have the same Problem an also an solution...

thank you sooo much... i need to solve the problem,

an also...

and if i whant to shutdown immediate...

ORA-01034 ORACLE not available
ORA-27101 shared memory realm does not exist
Linux Error: 2: No such file or directory

I don't know what to do...

sry man, i wrote that this was not my plan. There was a connection failur, an now i cant see the Topics i "create"
