Hi all,
following out put of iostat showing hi iowait, due this i am facing some problem when i get the data from SAN, i am useing oracle 9i(9.8.0.2) with erp application can any on let me know the solution for the iowait issue b/c i am new in AIX

High relative to what baseline?
The reality is the only way to reduce IOWAIT times is to add additional physical disks to reduce activity to each device.
IO operations must occur for DB to function & physics applies.
