Dear experts,

I could not import my exported application as i did easily in Apex 3.1.2.

i am using the Import wizard to import my exported (app10.sql) file. but it showing "The page cannot be found". but previously in APex 3.1.2 i could do it easily the same way. when i refresh/reload that page showing this message:
Expecting p_company or wwv_flow_company cookie to contain security group id of application owner

ERR-7621 Could not determine workspace for application (:) on application accept.

** i tried it by manually using SQL*Plus.... but it can not complete. showing message :
ORA-20001: Application ID and current security group ID are not consistent.

help required.

one of my assistant also faced this type of the problem. I insisted to uninstall 3.1.2 and then install 3.2. He said that having 3.1.2 he has already installed 3.2. I reqested him to uninstall whatever the version, and freshly install the higher version. He did and he has no problem on importing the application developed in 3.1.0. No supporting logic for this action. It is only a crude imagination to wipe the registry through uninstall and reinstall It worked. By the way what is the OS you are having?
This is not the suggestion but sharing the crude act done.

hi dr.s.raghunathan,

Thank you for your reply.

Before upgrading version 3.1.2 to 3.2 i backed up my application (app1.sql). and i imported that application to newer version (3.2) and it did not show any problem. But later what ever the file i export from 3.2 version and try to re-import in same (3.2) version never been able. it showing problem.

i dont find any way. please help me.
i am using OS Windows XP pro.

Still i am experiencing the problem although i find out the solution using "SQL Developer" tools easily. if i select the 'app1.sql' file and press upload its getting import successfuly using 'SQL developer'.
But i want to know, why in Apex 3.2 built in import utility showing error? and what is the exact way to export and import operation in 3.2?

Regards,
