Hi,
We have a DB Control RMAN job which uses an OS account. Each time the OS account expires and its pwd changed the RMAN job failed. I can't seem to find where this can be edited so end up creating a new job.
Does anyone know where in DB Control the pwd for the OS a/c can be changed? I can see the forthcoming scheduled jobs but can only view their definition.
Thanks in advance.

Apologies for the duplicate post - had a timeout error. We can't change the policy at the OS level due to security policies. Can the RMAN job be changed via DB Control?
Thanks

It's UNIX (worked on Windows too long hence Win referencs!).
I'll see what I can re: the OS password but you would think that the RMAN connection credentials should be able to be changed via Db Control as the job was created there...If anyone can enlighten me then super. Otherwise I'll re-create the job again..
