Respected senior members,

I have One question regarding career.
Right now I am working as pl/sql developer.
But I want to make my career with database administration or warehousing. But I am so confused about choosing one field. Please help me in that manner by providing comparision details with these two career paths like job opportunities, options, salary, opportunities in India, opportunities out of India and other if any.
