Generating AWR report in $ORACLE-HOME dir [message #397241]

Hi all,

Why is that we generate AWR report in the below said directory ? is there any specific reason for this?

$'@ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/awrrpt.sql'

Because you typically call the script from there.
You can give full path to spool the output where ever you want.
