Hello,

Why do we run the scripts root.sh and orainst.sh while installation? and what is the major difference among the two?

Because these are the scripts provided by Oracle.

They are text files.
Inspect their contents & you will/can see what each does.

So why do not you answer your own questions rather than be lazy & expect us to solve your mysteries?
