listener.trc or listener.log ??

If you want take backup and compress.

Hi Babu,

Thanks for your replay....

Its a listener.trc file only not listener.log,its a 4 gb file.
can i compress it or not,i need disk space.

May i know what is the use of that file

If you have no use of it, you should better put tracing off and remove the file.
