The other day upgraded from 10.2.0.3 with some one-offs to 10.2.0.4. On the 10.2.0.3 server things run to user expectations, 4-10 second turn around on java-type reports. On the 10.2.0.4 upgrade server, the same queries are running in 55sec+.

Does anyone know of anything internal/undocumented that might have caused this. I am currently using the sqltxplain tool to gather data from both servers.

thanks in advance

Ed

It appears you have 2 separate systems.
Prior to the upgrade how did the query run on both systems?
What is Operating System name & version on both systems?
Compare & contrast the Oracle data between the 2 systems.
