Hi DBA's,

This is raj, i have a problem with my prod database, i am facing rollback segment recovery error in my alertlog file it is repeating for every minute. but still my db is up and running. the error message is

ORACLE Instance orcl (pid = 6) - Error 600 encountered while recovering transaction (24, 20).

Errors in file d:\ORANT\RDBMS80\trace\orclSMON.TRC:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: 4137], [, ], [, ], [, ], [

I am getting this error message from past two days but i restarted the instance with normal shutdown and startup by yesterday evening and my prod database is working fine but still geting this recovery is happening.

SVRMGR> select max(extents) from v$rollstat;
MAX(EXTENT

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
24467

please help me out to solve this issue..

ORA-00600/ORA-07445/ORA-03113 = Oracle bug => search on Metalink and/or call Oracle support

Thank u for your reply..
but i went through metalink and i found an article regarding rollback segment corruption

here in prod db maxextents is 24467 only..
and all rollback segments are online

so could u pls give me more hints to find the recoverable rollback segments

It seems you didn't encounter this bug but another one as you are in the case described in the note.
Contact Oracle.
