Undo tablespace usage in rac env. [message #391851]

Dear sir,

we have 2 nodes, and one undo tablespace per node. ( undotbs1 , undotbs2 )we have one more undo tablespace for instance2 which is not active( i.e. not set at instance level ) say undotbs3
if undotbs2 in instance2 is full, what will happen ?
the next available active undo tablespace undotbs1 ( in instance1 ) will be used for node 2 ?

No, only one undo tablespace is active per instance.

ok....then if node2 is not able to use the undo tablespace of node1 (i.e. undotbs1 ) , then node2 will use system rollback segments....? at database level...?
