Which Reports and operating system versions do you use?

Do you find this topic useful?

I'm using Report Builder 6.0.8.8.3 on a machine that runs Windows Essential

The report does show some images but for some it gives an error.

will it make a difference if use TIF format images as opposed to GIF ?

Strange, 'coz Report shows some images whilst not others.

I guess that MS Windows XP Professional is OK (sort of ...). Forms 6i Patch 13 (6.0.8.22) is the lowest version that is certified with MS Windows XP Pro. Therefore, perhaps you should upgrade your Forms version (although I *guess* that your version *might* work OK as well). For more information, check Oracle's Certification Matrices.

Did you check the link I provided earlier? Compile All the report (<Ctrl + Shift + K>, create and run REP file)? What happened?

I don't know whether GIF / TIFF makes any difference, sorry.

here i added attachment.
according to set the path for reports.
while running the report , report will take the images from the above path.

start--> run--> type "regedit"--> press enter
select the reports home folder
and then select the reports_path
set the path
and save all images ( reports calling images)

I suspect that Report Error: VGS 1003 is attributed to the quality of image itself. I've come to conclude this from Oracle Forms.

Anyone else have an opinion ?
