Hi,
Im trying to export kredittcard number from an answers report to excel, but when it shows up in Excel i get problems.
The result of this : 4292671110000073 comes up like this : 429267E+15 ...
I know the Excel, right click, format cells, number , remove decimals ..but it seems to delete the last numer and gives me this result back : 42926711100000070 ( it should have been 3 at the end, but seems like excel is skipping this number and formats it to '0' instead..
Maybe there is somewhere i can tell answers how to export files with that many numbers and make it show up correct in excel ..
Regards
Leif

so long, you are not going to use credit card numbers for arithmatic operation. why don't you think storing those card numbers in varchar2 format instead of numbers. Your retrieval also possible. ofcourse, you may have some hidden agenda to declare it as number. It is only a peace of recollected suggestion and not that you are not already know.
