Hi
I am planning to buy "thermal heat printer". It uses continuous sheet of paper. I am wondering that how can i save the paper.
Let me explain my expected problem:
Objective: Save paper
Situation: Keeping the things simple, suppose there are two customers. One has bought only thing and other has bought 20 things. Hence invoice of customer no 1 produces only 1 record and for customer no 2, there will be 20 records.
Now, if i print them using thermal heat printer, then the template i am using to print invoice in my report file will print invoices on 11 inches long paper. The use of 11 inches paper is okay for customer no 2 due to 20 records while for customer no 1, the half blank paper will be waste of resources.
Possible solution: If we can control the report length in then this problem can be solved. But how? any idea? or any other possible solution.

Then only possible solution i can think is to make many copies of report with different page sizes and calling a specific sized report on the basis of number of records present in a particular invoice.
