I have two identical servers.
ML370G3, XEON 3.0Ghz 2Cores, 4GB RAM, 146GB SCSI x 6 (in RAID 1+0).
Server1 loaded with Windows 2003 STD x86.
Server2 loaded with Windows 2003 STD x64.
The Oracle on Server2 also on x64 version.
All Oracle instance have same patch, (10.2.0.3 p28).
Oracle binaries were installed using same source.
Using a same source of dump file (also same import script) to import into both servers above, it gave me very significant time different.
On Server1, it tokes like 1H, while on Server to over 2H.
INIT.ORA are the same on both servers.
So everything exactly the same. the only different is OS/DB type, one is 32bit (x86) and another one is 64bit (x64).
Please advice.
Thank you.

Was the load on the two servers the same when the imports were being run?
How many other people were using the databases at the time?
