A shovel is a great tool for making a hole in the ground,
but only when the correct end of the shovel is used against the ground.
You are using the wrong end of Oracle for this task.
Trying to use Oracle to backup MYSQL, is abusing wrong tool for the job.
Use MYSQL utilities or Operating System to backup MYSQL.

The only way you could take a 'backup' of a MySql database using Oracle HS would be to copy the contents of the MySql Db into Oracle.
There are a set of instructions for setting up Oracle HS here
Oracle tools like IMP and EXP won't touch data across an HS link.
