Dear All,

I am using oracle 10.0.1.2.0 version for our production DB. We have 5GB RAM in the DB server & assigned 1.5 GB for SGA. In my DB server, oracle.exe process is always using full cpu usage.

We restarted the Service, but still its using 95-99% cpu usage.

What could be the problem? Can anyone suggest the solution for this?

Regards,
Mohideen.

Hello,

You need first to identify if the culprit is a background or user process. To get the threads of Oracle.exe you can use something like Qslice tool.
Have a look at this :
