Hi,
We have oracle 10g database. Can someone tell me when we have to do maintanence work for table fragmentation? Is there any script available that tells the fragmented tables? Is export and import is the only way to defragment the tables?
Thanks

Define what you think fragmentation is and why you think you have it.

For Local Managed Tablespace, the answer is NEVER.

...unless you selected MANUAL segment space management when creating the tablespace.
