Dear Members,

I'm installing Oracle 9i. I want to Import Data file in Database, But facing Some Problems in Opening Oracle Management Server....

When I click on "Enterprise Manager Consol" after that I have 2 Options:-
1 is Launch Standalone
2 is Login to the Oracle Management Server

When I select 1 then windows open and when I import data file message is displayed Firstly Open OMS.

When I Select 2 Option then three option displays
1. Administrator:_____________________
2. Password:__________________________
3. Managed Server:____________________

I enter in 1 User name IESCO and in 2 password hr and in 3 our computer name with domane just liek miak-iesco.HRDATA.local but error message is displaying:-

"VTK-1000: unable to connect to the managment server miak-iesco.hrdata.local. please verify you have entered the correct host name & the status of the OMS on"

when in 3 optioni i enter iesco than display error message:
"unable to resolve host name "iesco""

what is the PROBLEM ? WHAT I CAN DO FOR IMPORTING DATABASE FILE? and WHAT I CAN DO FOR OMS ?

PLEASE HELP ME WITH THANKS

Best Regards
