Dear sir,
Iam just try to create auxiliary db in my local machine only where my target db resides.
for my target db:
all my database files are kept in : D:\oracle\product\10.2.0\admin\SBIWILL10
for my auxiliary db
i have created one folder AUX10 same as abv , i.e : D:\oracle\product\10.2.0\admin\AUX10
my all backupset goes and get stored in below path:
CONFIGURE CHANNEL DEVICE TYPE DISK FORMAT 'C:\RMAN_BACKUP\RB_%d_%t_%s_%p';
i.e. in c:/rman_backup - folder all my backup pieces are preseted...
now pls confirm, to which location i should move my target backup datas in order to create auxiliary database....as it looks "that place" for backp pieces to resotre when i run
DUPLICATE TARGET DATABASE TO AUX10;
pls guide me further.
thank you,
kesavan.
