Dear sir,

We issue "SELECT * FROM <tname>;" from 2 schemas for a patricular table.

in schema 1, ttl record count is: 90000,
execution time: 350 msec.

in schema 2 , ttl record count is: 20000,
execution time: 9 msec.

both tables are having same structure and indexes.
And last_analyzed coumn shows current date.

Pls adv us the reason for slowness in schema 1.

rgds,
kesavan.

Both have the same number of blocks?
Both are in the same database?

Activate autotrace and check the result.
