Hi Sir,

I have a query.
My database is on sun solaris 5.9 for sun sparc -64 bit.
Oracle version is 9.2.0.6..

The attached storage from SUN i.e. T3 was running out of space, so we had purchased a new SUN FIRE 2540 storage.
The moment we attached the new storage, we started experiencing heavy loads and slow performance of the database.

The vmstat and iostat results have been attached.

We experienced loads on 2 particular mount points and then moved the datafiles to another mount points, but that has also not solved the issue.
Can i expect help from this forum.

Regards,

Ajay

It's still possible that the problem is within your application.

Have you checked the SUN FIRE 2540 is certified with 9.2 oracle DB?
