enq: TT - contention when trying to offline a temporary tablespace [message #379662]

Hi

I issued a 'alter tablespace temp offline' command yesterday on one of my 3 node RAC 10.1.0.4 database.
It is hanging since with 'enq: TT - contention'.

Any ideas ?
I failed to find any Metalink/other references that are helpful

You should:

1. Gather evidence to log a call with Oracle Support. This will typically be 3 x systemstate dumps taken a couple of minutes apart.

2. Issue a shutdown abort and restart.
