Hi,

In our database we have found that some tables are in system tablespace. I am not able to move these tables to different tablespace as these table contains the column with LONG datatype.
After giving the command ALTER TABLE TNAME MOVE TABLESPACE NEW_TS, it is showing the following command
ORA-00997: illegal use of LONG datatype

Pl suggest.

Thanks & Regards,
Omprakash

Export/import.

This is one of the many reasons to NOT use LONG.
