Hi,
we are facing over logging issues in Application server 10g.
Please provide help regarding
1)HOW TO PURGE APPLICATION SERVER logs?
2)What if i manually remove the log files?
3)Any document which can help me in this regard.

Hi
Thanks for update. I have already followed this document.
I am not clear about.
1)How we can manually clear physical logs?
2)Any steps i have to follow before clearing the logs?

Well, if you're sure you won't need the log data for analysis or debugging you can just "truncate" them. For example (Linux/Unix):
$ > access_log
$ > error_log
|
