*Description:
Solid, fast growing network solutions company in Indianapolis, Indiana needs
a Sr. Oracle
DBA to provide database support.
This is NOT consulting and there is NO travel. Full-time staff only.
They are currently using a Windows NT clustered network as their environment.
This may change if not big enough. They are doing development in Visual
Basic and
Java, etc.
They have 1100 users in 47 locations across the country including Hawaii to
put on the
DB. They have 3 production data bases amd many smaller ones.
The largest will reach 50 gigabytes by the end of 2000.
They will hire another DBA-(more Jr) as soon as they have this one.
* Requirements:
- B.S. Computer Science or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in an Oracle database environment
- NT environment.
- Certification is desired
- U.S. Citizenship or permanent residency
This position offers:
