Hi, folks, I am trying to connected to an Oracle server on a customer's network. We have NAT set up on the firewall between our network and the customer's network. Is this gonna work? I think NAT will not be able to change the destination IP in the TNS header. Please help!

What is the OS?
If your OS is WIN NT this will help.
I also got the same situation when I tried to connect Oracle from client which is outside of firewall it used to hang. I could communicate Oracle server but could not get comminication back. Then I found one technical bulliten stating that one registry entry is required to be set. That is USE_SHARED_SOCKET=TRUE. This can be added into WINDOWS registry.
This document is available in metaling and the title is
--- How Firewalls Work in Relation to a Windows NT Server and document ID 66382.1
I hope this will help you if your OS is WINDOWS NT
