Hi,

I have successully installed OAS 4.0.8.2, an Application, a JServlet Cartridge under that application. I have also specified the Virtual Path and Physical Path for the Jservlet cartridge.

I'm able to view the HTML pages under that directory. But, when I try to access Class files, it's not returning any page to the browser. From the Log file (wrb.log), I could find out the problem and that is as follows:
----------------
08-07-2000 13:23:37 0 oracle
`Broker` 587 1 0x10fff `OWS-04770: Host oracle is running out of Virtual Memory(at 0 MB) and disabled temporarily for Cartridge market/market instance creation. `
----------------

Environment:

OAS 4.0.8.2 in NT 4 (with Service Pack 5) is installed in a 512 MB RAM machine with PIII 550 MHz processor.

Initially I tried with 512 MB Swap file size and after
encountering this error I tried with different swap sizes of upto 2 GB Swap size . Even then this problem persists.

Since it's quite urgent, please help me to resolve this problem asap.

Thanks
Ramesh

Hi,

I found out the cause of the problem. It's because of the network setting. After setting the domain name in DNS setting of the NT network properties, it started working fine. Think, it was searching for the domain name from outside.
